Book A Speaker

Please call during business hours, Monday through Friday to schedule Mary Lynn to speak to your group on the subjects of autobiography, memoir and family history, country living, real estate trends, gardening, or interior design, small farming and ranching (or all of the above!)

She is a polished and interesting and often humorous speaker, and will adapt her talk to your program needs, for a truly custom presentation.

Recently, she has spoken to several S.I.R.S. clubs, Soroptomists, and Young at Heart Lutheran Seniors.

Beginning in April, she will be speaking about and reading from her book, Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows, No Horse and No Clue, in a two-hour program with a real-life cowboy, entitled, "Accidental Cowgirl Meets Singing Cowboy."

If you are a resident of Sonoma County, there will be several opportunities for you to attend this unique and enjoyable pairing of two talents at the following branch libraries:

Accidental Cowgirl Meets Singing Cowboy!

Mary Lynn Archibald, author of Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows, No Horse and No Clue, and Scott Gerber, the Singing Cowboy, will be featured this spring at Sonoma County Library’s Petaluma Main Branch. Their first scheduled appearance will be from 2-4 P.M. on Saturday, April 19th.

Mary Lynn will be discussing how she managed to "pass" as a cowgirl for 12 years on a cattle ranch in remote Trinity County, and reading from Accidental Cowgirl. Scott will be singing and speaking about the life of a REAL cowboy.

His songs, some traditional, and some he composed, will be available on his CD, Cowboy Songs. Copies of Mary Lynn's book will also be available.

So put on your cowboy boots (but leave the six-guns and spurs behind), please deposit your chewing tobacco in the receptacles provided (there will be no chewing allowed during the performance), and join us for a unique and enjoyable experience. Yeehaw!
